About 6 km from Trinità d’Agultu, takes its name from the island in front of the town. Formed from granitic rocks of a color ranging from pink to deep red. It seems that in antiquity the seaport of the centers born in the hills and therefore, towards the end of the 500, a watchtower was built to defend the area from pirate raids. From a fishing village originally, it has today maintained despite its considerable development, its characteristics of simplicity. Its pristine sea is a reference point for divers and enthusiasts who can find both sandy and rocky seabeds still healthy, where sea bream, mullet, moray eels, glimpses, corvine and also dark groupers and lobsters are an excellent habitat. It is not uncommon to see dolphins and dolphins in the quieter seasons.
